After hearing back from a few folks that they wanted the Photograph of the Week to continue, I have decided to heed their call. I am still a little unsure how this feature will change (if at all) since the same photo will be on 36clicks. I am quite hesitant to move away from pulling the photos from my Flickr account as the photoblog plugin I am using is putting a significant hit onto my server. I am still putting some serious thought into dropping this plugin altogether due to its performance issues. I am quite disappointed by the whole experience as it seemed so promising.

If you have any thoughts on how you would like the Photograph of the week to move forward, please let me know. I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Weekly Photograph - Shoe Shiner

I have been really falling behind on taking photos due to unique circumstances at work. My hope is this will no longer be the case in the next week or so and I will be able to resume my regular photographic regimen. I was amazed at the amount of “characters” in Boston - I mean that in a completely positive manner. There were so many people with so much character - perhaps it was just being out of town that brought about the observation, but many parts of San Francisco seem so vanilla compared to that city. This individual was unfortunately one of the few people I was able to successfully photograph - I feel lucky that this one at least turned out.
