The week is definitely heavy on the politics/current events and low on the tech/design. I try to even the areas out, but this feature tends to have a life of its own. Funny enough, there were no iPhone links this week - I have no doubt they will be scattered in great quantity throughout next week’s collection.

I know, it is shocking - I actually posted the weekly links on time. We are heading out for the weekend (again) and I am not going to be graced with an internet connection, so I wanted to make sure to post these links before I headed out. I just noticed that I had not published the weekly links - I was too busy fiddling with our new acquisition (more on that later). Once again, great links abound in this collection - many of them political or media related. On a sobering note, White House press secretary, Tony Snow is undergoing an operation to remove a tumor in his stomach. The procedure is precautionary as the tumor seems to be benign - still, pretty scary. I am not too big of a fan of Tony Snow’s political stances, but all differences are put aside when news like this hits. My best to Mr. Snow - I wish him a speedy recovery.

The week is closing up, so it is about time to drop some links. It has been a while since I broke 30 for the amount of links - time opened up a little more this week, giving me a chance to post a little more. I especially got a kick out of the wall of shame for Fox News - quite a bit of laughter and nausea all at the same time. The last week of craziness is almost over and calm should rule the day for at least a while. Somehow, I was able to keep the writing up as well as post the weekly links in a (relatively) timely manner. A lot of things happened this week - including more commentary on Ann Coulter’s hate-filled statement. If politics and right-wing nutjobs are not your thing, you may want to have a look at VIRB - a social networking site for the designer or design enthusiast.
