Well, this is it, the big 50. The Weekly Links have been going on for close to a year now and it has become one of my favorites pieces of this blog. Even though I am on vacation, I thought I would take the time to drop the links for you - albeit a bit late.

More linkage abounds this late Thursday/early Friday. I will be making some additional progress to this site this weekend hopefully. As you saw, there was no article as I spent the majority of my weekend creating the new portfolio section that is now live (I consider that a good excuse). Some big portions of the site should be flushed out if not this weekend, the weekend afterwards.
In addition, I am almost positive that there will be another weekly post much like the weekly links. I feel that my collection of links are never too focused on, well, anything actually. Therefore, I have decided to commit to a weekly post to design links - but not like you are probably thinking. I want to publicize sites/events/individuals/organizations that are using design to make their community or the world a better place to live in. This means all sorts of design will be included with industrial design most likely being the most prominent. I hope this will inspire hope and action in people who read this blog or happen to come across it.
So be ready be more links next week. You will be getting a double-dose from here on.
