It is late and I am most definitely tired. This week had a lot of things going on - the Boston/Aqua Teen Hunger Force freak-out, the Super Bowl, all sorts of “good news” coming out of the Middle East (as usual). All of these stories and more are covered in the weekly links. I am going to sign off - it has been a long week and I am ready for a break. Have fun this weekend folks.
Enjoy the links.

12.02.07 11:02 amMy head is still spinning after seeing that video game clip with the evil boss. (Was it making comments in Chinese?) I have no damn idea how anyone could win that level. Were those bright swirly patterns that emanated from the Boss supposed to be avoided?! Mind blowing.
My mind is also blown over the whole Aqua Teen scare. I didn’t realize what the “bombs” looked like! The poor, deceiving descriptions in the newspapers made it seem like those LED lights were equivalent to spotlights piercing the sky…or some kind of lighting device of epic proportions. I recall being a child playing with various colored pegs of LED lights that could be placed on a screen to make illuminated pictures exactly like the Aqua Teen character. (Although I never considered illustrating a middle finger.) Little did I know that I was a terrorist in training!

12.02.07 12:05 pmYeah, the Aqua Teen Hunger Force debacle is as hilarious as it is sad. Come to think of it, my little avatar at the bottom of the page reminds me of the little dude that started the whole scare…

It seems like Trent’s new concept album has a hidden story that people have to uncover through various websites ‘from the future.’ Check out this interesting mystery. You know what I will be doing after work!!!

Great link Kellie, thanks so much.
Daily Delicious - Nine Inch Nails New Album Spawns Abstract Web Sites » SOME RANDOM DUDE
14.02.07 1:22 pm[...] A new Nine Inch Nails album is coming out in April. Thanks to our good friend Kellie, and her great link comment, I learned about a series of abstract websites pertaining the theme and (from the rumors) storyline of the new album. To say the new album is political is like saying the sun is warm - just a warning to those of you that do not enjoy politics. Yes, I know, this has been done before. Yes, I know, this is a form of marketing. Still, the tone and the way it comes off just seems different than other viral marketing campaigns. [...]
