More political craziness was in full bloom this week so I was not able to put as many design links in as I would have liked. In the end, the current political issues are much more important than design.
In the next month, I may be adding some features to the weekly links - I am still mulling it over. If you have any suggestions for the format or content of the weekly links, please let me know. Otherwise, enjoy the links.

- Dear Senators - CIA Letter on Torture
- All the 'help' that Bush keeps saying he's giving to intel and the military does not seem to be wanted by some, if not many, of them.
- First they came…
- This old poem has again become very appropriate.
- Sen. Leahy: “We have a profoundly important and dangerous choice to make today”
- And it was made - Habeas Corpus and the U.S.'s following of the Geneva Convention is no more…
- Someone sends Keith Olbermann white powder, NY Post laughs about it
- The hypocracy is as obivious as it is sad. Nonetheless, it is a sign of the times.
- Polling Iraq
- I'd say they don't want us there anymore…
- 3-Year-Old Boy Buys Pink Nissan on eBay
- Can we really fault the boy here? I mean, who wouldn't want a pink Nissan?
- Fox and the Clinton Interview pulled from YouTube
- Nice - censoring their own work.
- U.S a Dictatorship?
- Scary to say the least. Worth a serious view.

- Quite a nice collection of fonts. Go have a look.
- Villain Chair
- Holy crap, I want this chair! Only then can I take over the world…
- The Contextual GUI

- I may be using something similar to this in the near future.

The Discussion

29.09.06 1:05 pmGreat political links. I especially enjoyed reading about the Fox News censorship. In general, I love how BushCo. is trying to divert the nation’s attention by blaming Clinton for everything. Its actually very clever as much as it is cowardly. Blaming the other guy always seems to be the best way to get out of trouble…

29.09.06 1:13 pmYeah, I could talk for very long periods of time on this subject. However, I think I’m going to leave the talking to the folks writing the comments.

29.09.06 3:25 pmOne more link to share. This is a design firm’s website. It is very heavy with imagery and motion. I don’t know if this site lives up to the arguments in PJ’s latest article ‘Empirically Beautiful…’ with accessability to the user/stats, etc, but it sure is pretty…

29.09.06 3:53 pmYeah, well, these guys definitely are doing work within the ‘experience site’ genre. For those, my opinion is get as crazy and as cool as you can get - screw analytics.

30.09.06 9:37 amGot my connection back! Thank f**k. Some real good changes going on here at your site PJ. I really, really love the masthead now. Subtle flash can work so well and that’s a great example you got there. With my keen eye I notice that the little men appear at random places, dont they? Great work PJ.
