Some Random Dude

I have not spent much time taking photos from alternate perspectives up to this point. Call me lazy, but it never came to my mind to do so. Well, obviously, subjects begin to get very mundane and boring after shooting at the same perspective for too long. I am starting to devote time to shooting scenes/subjects in perspectives that are just a little out of the ordinary. Nothing mind-blowing, but just enough to give a slightly different view of an otherwise ordinary object. It really is amazing how a few feet up or down can change how something looks.

I really like taking photos of relatively basic objects - in this case, the parking meter. We all see it on a daily basis (at least those living in a city). Just by taking this photo from a higher position, I found the parking meter to be quite interesting to look at. I have begun to focus on human subjects more in my photos, but the landscapes I do shoot from now on will be taken slightly differently from now on - or at least that is the hope. I guess we will see.
