Photos from around the New Year

It’s been a long process, but I’ve slowly been scanning photos that were taken weeks or a good month ago. I still have a ridiculous amount of photos from the past to get on my Flickr account, but I thought I’d start with the present. My wife and I made the decision to invest in higher quality film each time we shoot as well as dropping a few more dollars for development. It made an amazing amount of difference.

Here are some recently posted photos to my Flickr account. I still believe that a good shot with film will beat the pants off of a good digital shot any day of the week.

We took our photos to be developed at a small neighborhood photo development shop by the name of Fotek. It was worth both the trip and the money. For those who don’t want to spend the extra money by having their photos developed at Walmart or Walgreen’s, you’re seriously slighting the quality of your photos. I highly recommend this place if you’re willing to pay a little more cash.

It’s amazing what you can do with digital if you have an über expensive SLR. However for ordinary cameras that fit in your purse, my film point-and-shoot came up with better quality than my digi point-and-shoot.

i like the fact that you are using your own typeface, bitcon.

Great pics!!!
