Last week was a very photographic week and Sunday was no exception. I have been fascinated with the powerlines around my apartment for quite a while now and so it was about time that I did a photographic study on them. I think the black and white format really did these images justice and brought out the amazing contrast that drew me to these scenes in the first place.

25.01.05 7:07 pmIt reminded me of Sol Lewitt’s “Lines from Four Corners to Points On a Grid”. If you’re not familiar with it is a rather unusual museum installation using black paint and white crayon. In this case though, instead of sending a painting to install, scientific measurements are sent for the museum to re-create the image on their walls. Anyhow, found you via BlogClicker and the photo instantly made me think of Lewitt.
