Wow, after taking a look at some of the previous posts, I’ve noticed that my blog had digressed near abysmal subjects, so it’s time to reel things back in to more meaningful topics.
My buddy Yousuf needed to do some research for a branding project so he invited me along on a explorative photo session. The cool thing was while Yousuf had to shoot with purpose and a project in mind, I could just meander and photograph whatever the hell I wanted. Now it had been a while since I had last taken photos with my SLR. A few years as a matter of fact… My lack of recent experience showed through in flying colors from the start, but it was still a good time out and I definitely have the photography bug once again. Here are a few photos from the outing:Note: The photo re-touching I did is horrendous. I only noticed it after looking at the photos on a couple different monitors. My apologies.

8.01.05 3:29 pmbeautiful photography. did you do any photoshop manipulations to it? the contrast and range of values are awefully good! i especially love the trash can picture. the hint of typography really shows you have a good eye for composition and minor details.
now, its just too bad Will couldn’t think of better comments to write…

Night photography or low lighting is especially hard if you don’t have a tripod and this series does have the documentary feel since I know you can’t bring a tripod into the Metreon.
