New feature boys and girls - I’ll be posting a link from Digg on a daily basis (roughly). Thanks for the tip Robin.
This article gives some ideas on how to give a little back to your favorite bloggers. If you are inclined to give some love my way, may I suggest subscribing to this blog, dropping some comments in order to increase the Comment Love, downloading a PDF from my 1 iPod project and printing it out somewhere or go over to TerraPass and offset your carbon emissions.
Three out of the four things are free, so there’s no excuse!

It’s a little confusing where the actual digg story is since the link at the bottom conflicts with the Digg it link at the top but I guess it’s easy enough to get used to. Maybe you should put the ‘read more’ link in bold to make that stand out more or rename it to ‘read full article’ or something like that.
As to the actual article, I subscribe to the blog (although I don’t check up as much as I should/want), I drop comments, but I haven’t printed out those posters and I haven’t offsetted anything from TerraPass (I have through CarbonFund however).
Which brings me to a random question, why do you prefer TerraPass to CarbonFund? You have the link to TerraPass in the top section of every page and you only use CarbonFund because TerraPass doesn’t suit the one-time donation system for Comment Love.

13.12.06 11:43 pmThanks Tim, I don’t think it’s going to be too difficult - we shall see…
I totally agree with you about the confusion with the Digg link. I think those two buttons may be on their last legs…
I really like TerraPass because I think they have the sort of selling model that can catch the attention of the mainstream, average Joe. I like that there are packages to choose from which makes it very easy to jump into the whole carbon offset thing. I also have had a couple short email conversations with a few people over at TerraPass and they seem like really cool folks - that makes a big difference to me. The reason why I use Carbonfund for Comment Love is because TerraPass doesn’t have a pay-a-desired-price feature. If they picked up something like that, I would probably do everything through TerraPass. That’s a really good question and I really appreciate you bringing it up.

14.12.06 11:20 amAh ok, friendly managers would make a big difference to me too. When I was donating I wouldn’t have been able to use TerraPass even if I had looked into them a bit more since I was making a pay-a-desired price donation. I’d like to set up a monthly permanent donation sometime so I’ll definitely investigate TerraPass more thoroughly.

12.01.07 10:06 pmGreat stuff. I’ve subscribed, I’ll be posting your ipod image and I’ve already done the Terrapass. We must be kindred spirits.
