Processing Experiment – Spin

I think this Processing itch of mine is going to stick. I am still learning the basics, but what I love about Processing is that amazing things can still be achieved with little experience or overheard. I whipped this up a few nights back – all motion is based on sine/cosine computations. Unfortunately, the video encoding just killed the aesthetics of this sketch. Source code is below the jump.

On Friday, I picked up MIT’s Processing reference book as I really want to start delving into more alternative ways to use it. I am really looking forward what the next few months produce…

  • Hey, I saw that book, and was thinking about getting it. Once you read it, you should write something about it.

  • I’ll definitely do that. I am somewhat of a skimmer, so my writing may be more on the general vibe I got from the book. Still, that’s a great idea! :)
