My apologies for the slight downtime - Some Random Dude just migrated to a new and improved server which should make a few things much easier for additional changes and a fairly significant addition to the site. All in all, the migration was basically painless. Thank you Media Temple!
As for the schedule, my wife and I will be preoccupied this upcoming week, so major changes should begin to happen in two weeks. Depending on a couple variables, the process could end up being accelerated. I am still going to attempt to keep at my regular writing pace while making changes/additions to the site - we will see how that plays out.

8.05.07 12:57 amServer migrations can be a real bitch sometimes. It mostly depends on the speed of the domain name transfer I find, unless you keep your domain with a separate provider. You’ll have to keep us posted about your experiences with MT, I’m quite curious

8.05.07 8:16 amSo far, it looks like things went pretty smoothly. There were some frantic changes I had to make to rewire things according to the new configuration as well as a fairly decent list of things I need to move over, but as far as server migrations go, this was pretty painless.
I have been a big fan of Media Temple for quite some time now. I would love to see them go carbon neutral or at least have a ‘green’ package. Regardless of that, Media Temple seems to have the best package of performance and options of any webhost I have come across.

8.05.07 9:50 amExciting changes.
I had withdrawal symptoms last night while the site was down. Or maybe it was just the terrible heatwave getting to me. And then the comment love $ counter said NaN.! (Not available Now?) Is that your twisted way of copying NiN’s awesome logo? Just kidding.
Good luck on everything.

8.05.07 9:53 amNaN is lingo for “not a number”. Essentially, a request from the database was sending an error and sending invalid data.
Thanks for the support - as you know, life has been continually kicking Leah and I in the nether regions for the past couple weeks. After we get back from our vacation, let’s hang out.
