I have been meaning to post this video for a while, if only for the sake of posterity. Right before the election, myself and the folks at Gershoni whipped up SayHear. It was a blast to work on and we felt quite proud of the results. This whole project would not have been possible however without the technology and support of Ribbit. So when Ribbit asked me to talk about the project and how Ribbit’s technology helped make it a reality, I was more than happy to do so.
Please excuse my poor screen presence, but the interview was great because I was able to chat about some subjects that truly interest me. Ribbit is really doing some great work and is highly interested to engage with the design and technology communities to create next-generation online experiences. I highly suggest checking out their API.

8.03.2009 11:43 pmi gotta say that SayHear was really fun. I think the audio only was just the best way to go for something like this. I’m a bad follower of your blog but are you going to do another thing like this?
Hell, maybe you can have people call your blog and leave “comment love” that way as opposed to typing. You’d actually be able to get inflection through the voice as opposed to a dry typed comment.
“Give a man a mask and he will tell you the truth.”
I think Shakespeare said that.
